Tendeka inks agreement to supply intelligent well technology in China

ABERDEEN, United Kingdom -- Tendeka has entered an exclusive strategic agreement with Beijing Wallgate Information Technology to deliver digital oilfield capabilities to key operators in China. The agreement will see Tendeka’s intelligent well technology installed in multiple wells over a minimum period of two years.

Wallgate is a one-station solution pioneer with more than 10-years’ experience in China’s oil and gas industry, providing technical consulting and integrated solutions for software and automation products for multiple operators.

Fred Xu, CEO of Wallgate, said: “According to this agreement, Wallgate will exclusively supply Tendeka’s Distributed Temperature Sensing System (DTS), Wireless Pressure/Temperature Gauge, Wireless Inflow Control Valve (ICV) and the relevant project management services for design and planning of reservoir monitoring and control installation for China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). I believe our cooperation will bring a win-win for our two parties.”

Tendeka currently operates throughout Asia Pacific but has secured strong contractual positions in China, Australia and Malaysia, in particular, through a broad technology offering for conventional reservoirs, heavy oil production, fracturing and coal seam gas recovery.
